First of all
I can't believe that I haven't updated my blog in over 6 months! I am quite the slacker... but so much has changed in our life since then, this is going to be quite a long blog post to explain everything that has happened since then.
The Lay Off
So in November Casey got laid off from Utah Dairy Farms. This didn't come as a shock to us because of the series of events that led up to it, we kind of felt like it was coming and when it happened we both felt an overwhelming sense of peace that everything was going to be okay.. Then reality hit and we realized our time in Delta was coming to a heart-breaking end. I really fell in love with this small little town! I will always look a back on Delta with I little bit of a broken heart! I feel like I have so many great friends here. I would start naming names but I know that I would forget someone.. it would be easier to name the 2 people in Delta that I won't miss.. haha!
Leaving Delta
Shortly after Casey was laid off his parents offered for us to come up and live with them while we figured out what we were going to do. So after Christmas we packed everything up and moved back to Logan. While Casey was searching for a job I went back to work at my old stomping grounds at the hospital! It was so much fun to see everyone that I used to work with. but I must say if I am ever going to work full time again I will hire a maid! haha I don't know how full time working Mom's do it all!
The Job Search
About February or so Casey got a phone call from a guy in Texas asking if he could take Casey out to dinner and tell him about the company that he worked for. He was in Logan and wanted to meet with him. I was pretty skeptical, Casey had a lot of job offers like this over the last several months.. He had also had a job interview with the State of Utah as a State Dairy inspector that week that would ultimately bring us back to Delta and he felt confident that they were going to offer him a job. So when he had dinner with this guy he let him know that if we got this job in Utah that we would be taking it. He asked Casey to send him his resume the next day and maybe an hour or so after he got his resume they called and offered him the job. Before we turned them down we figured we better give the job a shot. The one thing that I was holding back on is that we had to move to Boise Idaho. Well I had only been to Boise once for a USU mens basketball game. So that weekend we headed up to Idaho to check it out. As soon as we pulled into Boise, The State of Utah called and offered us the job! I was pretty excited thinking that we were moving back to Delta! But, after driving around Boise and taking a look at the area we started to get excited about Boise! When we got home back to Logan we started remembering the overwhelming sense of peace that we had when Casey got laid off and we left Delta. We knew that our time there was done.
Accepting the Job
So we took the job in Boise! He works for Micro in the dairy management division. Right now we are actually living in Texas. He has quite a bit of training to do in here and we decided to come along for the ride. We are living in a hotel, yes a hotel! It's going great! We are having so much fun, I have never lived out of Utah before and so this is totally an adventure for us. I have lots of fun pictures of all that we have been up to over the last couple of months that I will post later.
The Plan
So now we will be here in Texas until June 1st. Then we will head back to Utah, find a home in Boise and hopefully be settled by the time school starts in August!

Baby Story
I use facebook so much nowadays I forgot to post on here that we had our baby!!
Alia Maxine Andersen
Born March 21st 2011
6lbs 14oz 19.5 inches
Alia is pronounced Ah-lee-ah just in case you were confused.
Well up until the last few weeks of my pregnancy it was pretty uneventful. I got a little morning sickness and was pretty tired.. gained a lot of weight! but at 34 weeks my blood pressure all of the sudden skyrocketed! They ran all sorts of tests on me and put me on bedrest which was one of the hardest things that I have ever gone through! My amazing in-laws took the boys for the first week which was such a blessing but it was really hard to be away from them. Then the next week my neighbors and friends took my boys everyday when they got home from school until Casey got home from work at night.. It was really hard to sit at home and do nothing when I felt great! I will tell you what though my house sure stays clean when the little boys are gone!! Well the bedrest wasn't working, my blood pressure just kept getting worse and at 36 weeks my doctor here in Delta decided that I needed to go up "north" to have her because I needed to have her early and they aren't equipped to do it here. So we went back up to my doctor that delivered Tysen and Logan up at Logan Regional, and she decided that she would induce me at 37 weeks. So on Monday morning we headed up to the hospital at 5 am, they had to give me 4 hours of antibiotics before I could deliver her because I was strep b positive. Then at about 1030am my doctor came in and broke my water, at that point I was dilated to a 6. I thought it was going to for sure take all day because I came in dilated to a 4. Well 2 hours later at 1230 I started to get sick, which was miserable but after dry heaving for a couple of minutes I ended up being dilated to a 10, so at that point we just hung out and waited for the doctor to come in and catch her..(my doctor was at parent teacher conferences) haha well anyway, Alia had a hard time breathing so they took her to the NICU for about 5 hours to watch her and make sure that she was ok. We left the hospital the next day as soon as we could, mostly because I couldn't wait to get home and also our boys couldn't come into the hospital at all because of the flu season, any children under the age of 14 weren't allowed to come into the hospital at all. She will be 4 weeks tomorrow I can't believe how fast the last 4 weeks have gone. She has been so much fun! She loves to cuddle and be held.. and at least right now she hardly ever cries, but she makes little grunting noises all day and night. She looks just like Logan, except I think she is going to have blue eyes. She has the cutest little dimples just like both of my boys. The boys adore her, and Tysen asked if he could have an older sister too.. Sorry buddy!
